Privacy policy
Last updated October 7, 2026
NAB Apps LLC ("we", "us") makes the Booths & Bites app. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: you can use Booths & Bites without an account, your plan stays on your phone unless you sign in to back it up, we don't show ads, we don't sell your information, and we don't use third-party tracking.
Without an account
Your plan, stamps, reviews, budget, dietary preferences and other settings are saved only on your phone. To show menus, the app downloads them from our servers; like any website, those servers briefly log technical details such as your IP address to keep the service running and secure.
Fork ratings are the one thing shared. When you rate a dish, the app creates an anonymous ID for your phone and sends the dish and your forks, so everyone's ratings can be averaged. No name, email or other detail is attached, and others only ever see averages. You can turn this off in Profile under Privacy and account, which also removes the ratings you've shared. If you turn on festival alerts, your phone's notification token and the festivals you follow are stored under the same anonymous ID.
With an account
If you create an account, we store the following so it's there on any phone you sign in on:
- Account details: your email address, the name you choose, and an identifier from Apple or Google if you sign in with them. If you use Sign in with Apple and hide your email, we only see Apple's relay address.
- Your plans and stamps: the festivals you visit, dishes you plan and try, your fork ratings, your budget, trip dates and party size, and what you write about dishes you've tried. Your written reviews are never public; if you're in a party, its members can read them.
- Ratings: if sharing is on, your fork ratings count toward each dish's average. Others only see averages, never your name or email. Ratings you made before signing in move to your account.
- Dietary preferences: used to tag dishes that fit you. If you join a party, people in that party can see them so the group's picks fit everyone.
- Parties: the parties you join, the dishes you add, your votes, and what you wrote about dishes you've tried. Everyone in that party can see these, and nobody else.
- Notifications: if you turn them on, your device's notification token and which festivals you follow.
Booths & Bites doesn't collect your location, contacts or photos library.
Purchases
Booths & Bites Pro is bought through the App Store or Google Play, which handle payment. We never see your card details. We use RevenueCat to check which purchases are active; it receives an anonymous app identifier and the store's purchase records.
Who we share it with
Only the companies that run parts of the service for us, under contracts that limit their use of it to providing that service:
- Supabase, which hosts our database, sign-in and servers in the United States.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and our email, and runs Turnstile, an invisible check that stops bots from signing up. When you sign in, Turnstile looks at technical details of your device and connection. Its use of that information is covered by the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
- Apple and Google, for sign-in, purchases and notifications.
- RevenueCat, for purchase status.
- Resend, which sends our sign-in codes.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect people's safety.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep account information while your account exists. Deleting your account in the app removes it right away, along with your plans, stamps, ratings and preferences. Copies in our backups are gone within 30 days. If you organized a party, the shared trip passes to another member instead of disappearing for them.
Without an account, using Clear my plan, stamps and settings in Profile deletes everything on your phone and takes back your shared ratings. Removing the app deletes everything on your phone; ratings you shared stay in the averages under an anonymous ID that nobody, including us, can connect back to you. To remove them, clear or turn off sharing before deleting the app.
Your choices
- See or change your information in the app at any time.

- Ask us for a copy of your information, or to delete it, by emailing hello@boothsandbites.app.

Children
Booths & Bites isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
